David is a distinguished litigator with a broad practice spanning corporate and commercial disputes, arbitration, restructuring, and class actions. He brings extensive experience representing clients in domestic and international arbitrations, as well as navigating complex dispute settlements. In addition to his advocacy work, David serves as an arbitrator, having rendered several awards in domestic arbitration matters.
Over his career, David has regularly appeared before the superior and appellate courts of British Columbia and Ontario, acted in high-stakes corporate disputes, and advised clients on fraud, asset recovery, restructuring, and insolvency matters. His expertise includes securing and defending Norwich orders, Mareva injunctions, Anton Piller orders, and other extraordinary remedies.
David is widely recognized for achieving exceptional results for his clients. His excellence in litigation, dispute resolution, and insolvency and restructuring has earned him recognition in Chambers Canada, The Legal 500, and the Canadian Lexpert® Directory.
Beyond the courtroom, David is a dedicated leader in the legal and broader community. He serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Vancouver Hospice Society and holds roles with the Vancouver International Arbitration Centre and the Western Canada Commercial Arbitration Society.
