The partners are pleased to announce that Julian Wierenga will join the firm on March 31, 2025. A Canadian native, Julian obtained his law degree from Harvard in 2008 and then joined Skadden’s Chicago office as an associate in its litigation department. In 2012, he moved to Freeborn & Peters, also in Chicago, where he became a partner. In 2018, Julian joined the United States Department of Justice as an Assistant United States Attorney in its Civil Division. While Julian will begin his tenure with us by completing his British Columbia qualification, he brings considerable courtroom and international experience to the firm.
