Biography
Alexa practices commercial litigation, international arbitration and constitutional law, with a focus on research and written advocacy. She holds dual common law and civil law degrees from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Master of Laws in International Law from the University of Cambridge.
Prior to joining McEwan, she practiced as a litigation and research lawyer at a large international law firm for over 12 years. She also clerked at the Supreme Court of Canada for Justice Thomas Cromwell.
Alexa is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Law Society of British Columbia. She has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, both Federal Courts and all levels of court in Ontario. Alexa frequently acts as a moot court judge, including for the Jessup Canadian National Rounds.
Alexa is fluent in English and French and practices in both languages.
