Biography
Eric Aitken is an associate at the firm with a focus on commercial litigation.
He acts regularly as junior counsel in complex corporate-commercial matters, including contractual claims, shareholder actions, and priority disputes. Eric also assists clients in administrative and regulatory matters. Eric has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia and has acted for clients in both domestic and international arbitrations.
Before joining McEwan Partners, Eric practiced at an international law firm in Vancouver and clerked for six justices of the British Columbia Supreme Court. Eric obtained his juris doctor from the University of Victoria and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2015.
Eric is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Vancouver Bar Association and Young Canadian Arbitration Practitioners (YCAP).
